CONNECTIONS was a series of events curated by a team of friends, spearheaded by Filly Brook owner Simon Purnell. Joining him were Richard Spaven, the genre-defying drummer who performs with artists including Loyle Carner, Guru, Flying Lotus, and Jose James, among others, and Mode 2, a first-generation pioneering figure in the UK's graffiti scene.

Together with the illustrator and graphic artist Mitchy Bwoy, this collective delivered a program of performances fuelled by their connections and passion for creativity.

The month of events featured live music, DJ sets, art exhibition, record fair, and thought-provoking talks and interactive workshops.

At its core, Connections was a tribute to the late Simon Brant, a close friend, whose passion for music, art, and culture served as the inspiration behind this event.

We also raised money for two charities close to our hearts, Barts Hospital Trust and the Cynthia Spencer Hospice
